The Gymblog reported that Aleksas “Lex” Trotter, known variously as gymkingdiesel and islandboyrabian on Youtube, passed away on April 19.
Lex was a gymnastics montage maestro. Before launching his eponymous website, Lex had been the webmaster of nubianpoptart.com (defunct), which had been a popular video repository, and the prettiest fansite I’ve ever seen for Allyse Ishino.

I love women’s artistic gymnastics, because it might very well be one of the toughest sports in the world and it looks amazing when it’s well done. But what fascinates me more is the stark contrast between what these ladies do, and who they really are.
