After World Cup competitions (and other gymnastics competitions too), there is a banquet party where the gymnasts can relax, have some fun, and eat sweets (yes, I know).
At the banquet party after the Cottbus World Cup, Sean Golden (USA) thought it would be fun to take off his shirt.

The live ticker from Germany said 2007 Worlds medallist Yang Yilin (CHN) collided into another competitor while warming up on bars…and word on the street is that Yang BROKE HER FOOT. Or SOMETHING.

Now that European Championships are over…reflections in relation to the Beijing Olympics:
Ksenia Semyonova (RUS) is still very much in the mix to challenge Nastia and the Chinese for the uneven bars title in Beijing, but I’m more worried about Beth Tweddle. Oh God please let Beth get an Olympic medal on the bars!
