From R to L (not including Strazheva who was injured during the competition):
- Laschenova, the cute kid with the triple back and a mind for the Rubik’s Cube.
- Shushunova, the Memmel to Daniela Silivaş’ Liukin (yes I know that was a very crude metaphor).
- Shevchenko, who is cool because she is a Soviet.
- Baitova, the one whose name is forever attached to the ubiquitous Yurchenko 2.0 vault.
- And of course, the incomparable Bogi.
And with that, I wish the USA girls all the best as they battle it out at the selection camp. (Bridget Forever!)
