Romania had the highest team total, with France’s Marine Petit as the top all-around scorer (Izbasa and Nistor were absent).
Unfortunately, the meet showed quite a few bads with the goods: Cassy Véricel was injured at the meet (sprained her ankle), Oksana Chusovitina had Achilles problems and did not vault (leaving Germany behind Romania), and poor Cerasela Pătraşcu fell off uneven bars three times and is still not doing full dismounts.
However, Marie-Sophie Hindermann did hit 16.000 with her uneven bars routine, which bodes well.
