Jamie Dantzscher (USA): I never really liked her, but the fact that males still drool over her today must mean something.
Svetlana Boguinskaya (URS, BLR): Bogi looked pretty foxy in a bikini back in the day. Mongolian heritage + blue eyes + fixed teeth = Goddess of Gymnastics.
Tatiana Gutsu (URS): She was a scary little wraith in Barcelona, but now she’s all grown up and looking pretty good. Did she, like, get work done?
Veronica Wagner (SWE): It’s a crying shame that we won’t get to see her in Beijing because the STUPID IDIOTS at the Swedish Olympic Committee denied her appeal, after they told her she couldn’t go because 1) they thought she was “injured” and 2) she wouldn’t place in top 8. Bastards.
Again, if I’ve missed anyone feel free to comment. I usually won’t post Olympians who will have their first Games in Beijing, until all rosters are finalized.

I would venture to add Brandy Johnson to that list. I certainly wanted to look like her during my childhood gymnastics career, complete with super blond hair in a stylish scrunchie and a certain beachy look that only emphasized her tremendously powerful tumbling.
I don’t understand the whole Swedish situation… She’s on the nbcolympics.com site for an individual qualifier… *head shake* I just don’t understand.
