Women’s Health Magazine interviewed Alicia and also posted some songs on her iPod. I don’t like them (the songs I mean).
If you’re a Chellsie Memmel fan, you can buy special T-shirts to show your support. I assume this is a limited time offer.

In addition to driving her car with her foot on the door and listening to generally crappy teen music, I bet Alicia also watches The Hills and thinks it’s real. It’s okay though. I still heart Alicia anyway.
Hey there’s nothing wrong with watching the Hills.. I do partly to get away from reality for a moment and mostly just to laugh at how stupidly absurd they are
So I just finished looking through your blog for the first time. I get the feeling that you don’t like Shawn too much. Can you explain why? Just wondering? I hope it’s not the whole stocky and short thing because that’s kind of a thoughtless and uninspiring argument.
Re: Elizabeth–
I don’t mind Shawn at all. She’s a good kid. In fact, if I knew her in real life, outside of gymnastics, I’d probably like to hang out with her.
It’s just that I tend not to gush over ‘the golden girl’. Heck, I disliked Nastia back when she was anointed ‘The Chosen One’, and only began liking her after seeing her coming back from her ankle injury.
Not to mention that Shawn’s got some rabid fans who think that the only way to love Shawn is to talk smack about other gymnasts. I like to think my remarks are more reactionary towards them and not towards Shawn herself, though maybe for the sake of my sanity, I should try being nicer to Shawn anyway.
Thanks for your reply. I like how focused and unwavering Shawn is. I can understand the whole “rabid” thing though, no matter the gymnast those fans drive me crazy
Shawn is the greatest! I love her golden retriever!
