The live ticker from Germany said 2007 Worlds medallist Yang Yilin (CHN) collided into another competitor while warming up on bars…and word on the street is that Yang BROKE HER FOOT. Or SOMETHING.

Is Li Ya still around? I haven’t heard anything about her in a long time. She used to be my favorite Chinese gymnast, but I don’t know what happened to her.
It doesn’t make sense that Nastia would compete at competitions like Pacific Rim, but not here (with real competition). I guess she gets the confidence booster, but doesn’t have a real fight for titles.
