Sappy Fluffs

If it weren’t for NBC and their Sappy Fluffs, I never would’ve begun watching gymnastics in the first place.
When NBC does their little montages on foreign gymnasts who are not Romanian, they actually turn out quite well. The best fluffs (in my opinion) came during the Sydney Olympics, when the USA sucked so badly that there wasn’t much hyping to be done. Heh.
2000 Sydney Olympics all-around fluff
The beginning part about Produnova and Zamolodchikova was what really triggered my eternal fondness for Zamo. The Romanian part is cheesy to the point of major suckage. Blech. And Elise Ray’s cameo is like an afterthought.
Allana Slater (AUS) fluff
Brought tears to my eyes. This one actually worked.
