Last Tidbit of Test Event Yay-ness

Cheng Fei won the balance beam event finals at the Test Event. (What?!) Unfortunately for her, this just might be the only time she gets first place on balance beam. Not when some of her own teammates are better than her at it (i.e., Li Shanshan).
Lauren Mitchell (AUS) got second place. Apparently she is copying Dasha’s salute. And OMG she did the Humphrey! Although it kind of sucked. But because she did the Humphrey, Lauren officially rocks. Yay!
And Chellsie got third. Yay for another medal. Bridget was fourth.
And of course no trip to Beijing is complete without a visit to the Great Wall. Even though it’s all tourist-trappy nowadays…this photo was taken by Bridget’s coach.

Bridget is a busy girl. According to the Test Event website, she’ll be going off to Tokyo to compete in another Cup event. (The Test Event website is more Engrish-y than I thought it would be. Goodness.)
