So I’m quite pleased with the way it’s all turned out so far. Jiang Yuyuan, the recipient of the 2007 Longines Award for Cuteness (bwahaha), won the women’s all-around at the Beijing Test Event. Sassy Dasha Joura (AUS) got silver, and I’m quite happy for her. And Bridget Sloan earned an international medal of her own as a Not-Alternate, coming in third. This bodes well for all three of them. I’m glad Dasha’s coming out stronger than she was in Stuttgart.
Lauren Mitchell (AUS) was fourth, and Chellsie Memmel was fifth. Chellsie’s coming back slower than I thought. Ah, well.
