According to the latest gossip, Bianca Flohr (those in the know call her “Bonx”), has left elite competition for Level 10 gymnastics.
Up until now she has trained alongside 2006 Aarhus team member Ashley Priess, under Mary Lee Tracy, the former coach of Amanda Borden, Jaycie Phelps, and Morgan White.
There’s nothing wrong with going back to a level at which you can enjoy gymnastics–current Stanford gymnasts Allyse Ishino and Carly Janiga did it after the 2004 Olympics, before they went to Stanford.
And if going back to level 10 is what it takes for Bonx to love her sport again, all the more power to her.
She was so good at the elite level, though! I am really surprised that she would do that right before the Olympics.
Yea she’s going back to 10, i wish she wouldnt she was a good elite.
