Although I speak French, I had to watch the darn thing twice before I understood all of it.
Emilie has certainly become a lovely young woman. Even if the news report made it sound like someone DIED or something; it was so drama queen-y and stuff about her ending her career.
Anyway, although she is leaving, the French team is in good hands. I’m hoping to see Isabelle Severino still going strong à la Chusovitina and Cassy Vericel stepping up to the plate for France. Marine Debauve also is making a comeback, so I’ve heard.
I’ve forgiven Emilie for besting Terin and Courtney in Athens. I will miss seeing her and her Def. It was a pretty good Def too.
