Last night I read an old ESPN article about Courtney McCool. It brought tears to my eyes…although it’s been three years and counting since Athens 2004, her disappointment still breaks my heart.
Courtney M. was never my favorite gymnast, but I think she deserved better than what she got.
For her sake, I hope that her time at UGA is happy, just as it has been for the other Courtney. I wish her all the best!
That article is really heart-breaking. The wikipedia entry on McCool is outdated, wish someone would update it so we all know what’s happening with her…
